Host-derived resources may support long-term saprophytic survival of dormant rhizobia

That’s the title of the talk my Ph.D. student, Katherine Muller, gave recently at the Evolution meetings in Portland.  If you’re interested in the legume-rhizobia symbiosis, a potential alternative to nitrogen fertilizer, I recommend the video.
