Back in campus lab

I got my second Moderna shot a couple months ago so am back doing lab work mostly on campus. Masked, since it’s shared lab and the University of Minnesota isn’t requiring vaccination. System shown measures N2 fixation, its respiration cost to plants, and plant water use. Raspberry Pi camera (just visible above red rack) photographs nodulated roots. I’m using RootPainter to get nodule data from the images. Not visible are the tiny PyBoard (on back of my custom PC board), which runs the N2-fixation assays — Labview on screen just monitors the system, for benefit of human operators — and the sensor block with H2 and CO2 sensors (behind the LED panel).
